IRVING, Texas – Memphis’ men’s tennis team has earned the No. 1 seed for the 2024 American Athletic Conference Men’s Tennis Championship, which begins Thursday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Tulsa.
The men’s championship begins Thursday’s four first-round matches and continues through the Sunday, April 21, final. The winner of the men’s championship will earn The American’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Tennis Championships.
Seeds for the championships are determined by the ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings through matches of Monday, April 15.
Memphis earned the No. 1 seed for the second consecutive season after the Tigers went 16-5 in the regular season, including a 4-1 mark against American Athletic Conference teams.
