IRVING, Texas - Wichita State's Addison Barnard and CC Wong, along with Florida Atlantic's Trinity Schlotterbeck and Charlotte's Arianna Rodi have been named to the 2024 All-American teams by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA), Softball America, and D1 Softball. 

Barnard picks up her second NFCA Second Team All-American honor, earning a spot on the 2022 team as well. The outfielder  was a First Team All-Conference selection in The American where she batted .397 on the season with 24 home runs and 48 RBI. Barnard had a conference tournament performance for the ages and was named as the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player after she went 7-for-9 with six home runs, 13 RBIs, nine runs scored and a 2.889 slugging percentage in four games. Barnard was also named as a Second Team All-American selection for Softball America.

Wong, the 2024 American Athletic Conference Player of the Year, earns her first NFCA All-American nod with a second team selection. Wong hit .470 on the season with 14 home runs and 50 RBI.  She has also earned the Softball America Most Improved Player of the Year honor, as well as First Team All-American honors from Softball American and Second Team All-American honors from D1 Softball.

Schlotterbeck, a Second Team NFCA All-American selection, finished the 2024 season with a 2.67 ERA and ten complete games in the circle with a .293 batting average at the plate, while leading the Owls in home runs (10) and RBI (47). She was a First Team All-Conference selection, as well as a Softball America Second Team All-American selection.

Rodi earned a First Team All-American honor by Softball American after having one of the greatest offensive campaigns in Charlotte history, hitting .353 with 22 home runs and 55 RBI. Rodi became just the second player in program history to hit 20 home runs in a single season.  She was also named to the American Athletic Conference First Team.
