IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of its weekly tennis honors for the week-ending January 27.

Schwartzman was a winner in singles and doubles in both of Rice’s matches last week as the Owls improved to 3-0 with 7-0 victories against Lamar and Incarnate Word. Playing at No. 1 singles, Schwartzman won 6-1, 6-1 against Lamar and followed with a 6-3, 6-0 victory against UIW. She added a 6-1 win against Lamar and a 6-2 decision against Incarnate Word at the No. 1 doubles spot. She remained unbeaten in dual matches, improving to 3-0 in singles and 3-0 in doubles on the young season.
