IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of its weekly tennis honors for the week-ending March 17.
 
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Luis Felipe Miguel • Jr. • Tulsa
Miguel was a combined 4-0 in Tulsa’s two wins against ITA-ranked American Athletic Conference opponents. He delivered the clinching point in a 4-3 win against No. 67 Charlotte with a 4-6, 7-5,, 6-4 victory at No. 2 singles and he added a straight-set win at No. 2 in the Golden Hurricane’s 4-3 win against No. 65 Rice. Miguel added 6-3 wins at No. 2 doubles in both matches, improving his dual record mark to 9-7 in doubles and 9-4 in singles.
