MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Sutton Smith ripped off a 64-yard touchdown run with 4:51 remaining, and Chris Bracy punched the ball loose on Arkansas’ final drive to preserve Memphis’ 32–31 victory Saturday at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium.

The Tigers (4–0) extended their winning streak to eight games, the longest active run in the FBS, and scored at least 20 points for the 44th straight game, also the nation’s longest active streak.

Brendon Lewis ran for two short touchdowns and hit Cortez Braham Jr. on a 38-yard scoring pass as Memphis rallied from a 28–10 second-quarter deficit. Gianni Spetic added field goals of 38 and 47 yards, and the Tigers finished with 290 rushing yards, led by Smith’s 147 on the ground; Lewis added 103 rushing yards.

Arkansas (2–2) built its early cushion behind quarterback Taylen Green, who threw for 325 yards, including a 62-yard touchdown to Rohan Jones. Braylen Russell and Isaiah Washington had first-half rushing scores, but the Razorbacks were held to a single third-quarter field goal after halftime.

Memphis was outgained 500–489 but controlled the ball for 32 minutes and forced two interceptions before Bracy’s decisive strip on the Razorbacks’ last possession, which the Tigers recovered to run out the clock.
