Pitcher of the Week
Anne Long, So., South Florida
Long earned three wins for the Bulls over the weekend, including two complete-game performances. Across 15.0 innings in the circle, she posted a 1.87 ERA while striking out eight batters.
Player of the Week
Olivia Williams, Jr., CF, Charlotte
Williams recorded three multi-hit games in four contests, driving in eight RBI. The junior posted an impressive .571/.625/1.143 slash line in wins over Tulsa and Queens.
Honorable Mention
Ashlyn Shirah, Sr., LF, UAB
Shirah blasted two grand slams in the series against Florida Atlantic and tallied at least one hit in every game.
Caitlin Russell, Sr., P, UAB
Russell allowed just three hits in a 5-3 win over Florida Atlantic, pitching 5.0 innings in the circle.
Avery Shamblin, So., P, Charlotte
Shamblin threw a complete game in the series finale against Tulsa, surrendering just two hits over six innings.
Hailey Deter, R-Sr., OF, East Carolina
Deter helped lead the Pirates to a series win over UTSA, recording six RBI while posting a 1.111 slugging percentage.
Trinity Allen, Jr., 1B, Wichita State
Allen powered the Shockers to a series win over Memphis with six RBI and three extra-base hits.
