Stewart, Jefferson, Tuck and Williams Named 2016 AP All-Americans

UConn seniors Moriah Jefferson, Breanna Stewart and Morgan Tuck, and USF senior Courtney Williams were named 2016 Associated Press All-Americans on Monday afternoon.
 
Stewart and Jefferson were selected to the first team, Tuck to the second team while Williams received honorable mention recognition.

Stewart has become just the sixth player in women’s college basketball history to earn AP All-America honors three times. The North Syracuse, New York, native has been a unanimous selection since her sophomore season.

Jefferson was a second-team selection last year and was an honorable mention All-American as a sophomore, Tuck was an honorable mention selection in the 2014-15 season and Williams is an All-America honorable mention selection for the second straight year.
