-SMU shutout Northwestern State 8-0 in the Mustangs season opener. The last time SMU scored eight goals in a match was in 2003 where the Mustangs defeated Sam Houston State 10-1.
- After trailing 2-0, No. 23/NR USF came back to defeat Kentucky 3-2 in Lexington, Ky. Leticia Skeete scored the goal to tie the match at 2-2. She has now scored in every match this season.
