PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The American Athletic Conference women's soccer teams went 3-1-1 on Thursday night as Cincinnati, Memphis and SMU all earned wins. The Bearcats rallied to win in overtime to preserve a 17-match home unbeaten streak. The Tigers picked up their seventh shutout of the year while SMU, which is receiving votes in the national top-25 poll, is off to its best start since 1995.

Memphis 3, Arkansas 0
Memphis notched its fifth consecutive victory and seventh shutout of the season after a 3-0 win at Arkansas State on Thursday evening.
The Tigers found a pair of goals early to build momentum then scored late to seal their seventh win of the year. Defensively, Memphis limited Arkansas State to four shots as goalkeeper Elizabeth Moberg tallied her 11thcareer shutout.
Memphis stuck early off a set piece to establish momentum. Olivia Gauthier sailed a corner kick in the box and Samantha Murphy redirected it into the back of the net to get the Tigers on the board. Murphy's goal was her fifth of the season as the forward has now scored in four straight contests.
The Tigers return to action at Ole Miss on Sunday for their non-conference finale. Kickoff from Oxford, Miss., is set for 7 p.m.
UCF 1, George Mason 3
UCF dropped a 3-1 decision to George Mason at the UCF Soccer Complex on Thursday evening. The Patriots tallied the first goal of the contest, as a free kick was collected by Kayla Hamric, who put the Patriots ahead 1-0 in the 11th minute.
The Knights responded less than five minutes later, as Kristen Scott sent in her second collegiate goal in the 15th minute. The Patriots reclaimed the lead in the 30th minute, as Emma van der Vorst drilled a laser between the top of Vera Varis' outstretched hands and the crossbar. George Mason extended its advantage in the 66th minute for the final result of 3-1.
The Knights return to action on Sunday, heading to Stetson for the non-conference finale. The match is slated for a 7 p.m. start in DeLand.
Cincinnati 2, Lipscomb 1 (OT)
Dee Picou scored her first collegiate goal in the 79' and Sophie Gorman notched the winning score in overtime as Cincinnati battled back from a 1-0 deficit to claim a 2-1 win over visiting Lipscomb Thursday night at Gettler Stadium.
UC is now undefeated in its last 17 home matches dating back to the 2016 season, the second-longest streak in program history. In overtime matches, the Bearcats are now undefeated in their last 10 matches (2-0-8), marking the longest streak in UC history.
The Bearcats return home Sunday for a 1 p.m. contest with visiting LSU at Gettler Stadium. The Tigers are currently 6-1-0 and have won six in a row.
Houston 2, Air Force 2 (2OT)
Houston hustled its way to a 2-2 stalemate with Air Force, after 110 minutes of action at the Cadet Soccer Stadium in Colorado Springs Thursday evening.
Air Force got on the board early, knocking in a shot inside the 23rd minute. The Cougars would remain aggressive throughout the opening frame, earning a corner kick inside the 28th minute. Mia Brascia launched a ball into the middle of the box that would glide off the head of an Air Force defender for an own goal to tie the match.
A foul inside the box on the Air Force end of the field would culminate in a penalty kick that would give the Falcons a 2-1 advantage at the break. With 14 minutes left in regulation, Jazmin Grant would split a pair of Air Force defenders, connecting with Natalie Anderson on a cross. Anderson fired the ball and tied the match 2-2.
The Cougars will remain in Colorado and take on Colorado College Sept. 16 with a start time of 3:30 p.m. ET.
RV/- SMU 4, Northern Colorado 0
The Mustangs secured their best start to a season since 1995 with a 4-0 road win over the Northern Colorado Bears on Thursday night.
The Mustangs did what they've been doing all season and got on top early with multiple goals. Celiana Torres had the game's first score coming in the 14th minute. Torres gathered a poor clearance by the Bear keeper and, after a few dribbles, notched her third goal of the season.
Next up, the Mustangs conclude their two-game Rocky Mountain swing with a 1 p.m. C.T. Sunday contest against Colorado State.
