Memphis handed UCF its first conference defeat of the season, connecting on three of its five shots on goal in a 3-0 shutout on the road in Orlando. The Knights outshot the Tigers by a 16-6 overall margin on the night but could not find the back of the net.
Artur De Luca scored his first two goals of the season for Memphis, connecting at 35:57 and 58:50 for the 2-0 Tiger lead. Gabriel Christiansen further put the match out of reach with second goal of the campaign at 84:03 for the 3-0 Memphis edge.

No. 7/4 Tulsa assumed the solo lead at the top of The American standings, moving to 9-0-0 overall and 4-0-0 in league competition with a 4-0 shutout of South Florida. The Bulls held a 12-11 advantage in shots against the Golden Hurricane in Sunday’s contest, but Tulsa managed to convert four of its seven shots on goal into tallies on the scoreboard.
Malik Henry-Scott bagged another brace for Tulsa in the win, scoring at 52:10 and 59:04 to bookend a three-goal surge for the Golden Hurricane in just under seven minutes to build a 3-0 lead. Chase Bromstedt finished an Alex Meinhardt feed at 58:29 for the second Tulsa score. The fourth Tulsa goal of the evening game by way of a USF own-goal at 65:42.

SMU returned to its winning ways with a 1-0 home shutout of Temple on Sunday evening. The Mustangs peppered the Owls with 15 shots and seven that found goal, with Temple goalkeeper Liam Cummings logging a total of five saves in the loss.
Gabriel Costa was the man to break through for SMU in the 67th minute. Costa finished a Skage Simonsen assist at 66:37 for his team-high seventh goal of the year for the winning 1-0 scoring margin.
