Tulsa capped the opening weekend of the season with a 2-0 record following a Sunday victory against host Omaha, defeating the Mavericks 1-0. The Golden Hurricane withstood an 11-6 shots surge from Omaha, including a 4-2 margin on goal, to pick up the win.
 
Alex Meinhard slotted home his second goal of the season for Tulsa at 29:02, finishing an assist from Chase Bromstedt for the 1-0 Golden Hurricane lead. Nolan Cosgrove registered four saves on the night, including three stops in the second half, to earn the clean sheet for Tulsa.

No. 13/14 UCF bounced back from an opening night setback with a dominant Sunday performance, blanking North Florida 5-0 at the UCF Soccer and Track Complex. The Knights finished the contest with a 19-5 advantage in the shots department, including 7-3 in shots on goal. North Florida did manufacture an 8-3 edge in corner kicks but were unable to find the goal column.
 
Lucca Dourado led UCF with a pair of goals on three shot attempts, finding the back of the net at 33:53 and 61:47. Gino Vivi tallied the opening goal of the season for the Knights at 27:59, and Lucas Mauro (79:18) and Josiah Ramirez (88:56) chipped in insurance tallies.
 
Tyler Lavigne and Matt Douglass combined for a dual clean sheet against North Florida, with Lavigne stopping one shot on goal and Douglass turning away a pair of shots in just under 19 minutes as a reserve.
 
Memphis 1, Dayton 1 (2OT)
 
Memphis capped a competitive Ohio swing at the Wolstein Classic in Columbus, drawing Dayton 1-1 on Sunday after two overtimes. The Tigers scored the match’s first goal in the 36th minute before the Flyers squared the contest in the 50th minute. Memphis held a narrow 18-17 edge in total shots, adding a 12-8 margin in corner kicks.
 
Toby McCallum notched the go-ahead goal for Memphis at 35:05, putting home an assist from Zion Wagoner. Colin Welsh was brilliant in his 110 minutes of working, turning aside six shots for the Tigers.
 
UNC Wilmington 1, South Florida 0 (OT)
 
South Florida lost a heartbreaking 1-0 decision in overtime to UNC Wilmington to cap a two-match homestand at Corbett Stadium. USF held a dominant 10-1 margin in corner kicks but was only able to manage eight total shots and one attempt on goal.
 
Henrique Gallina and Segun Afolabi registered a pair of shot attempts each to lead the Bulls. Ralph Montero turned aside two shots in goal for USF.
