Old Dominion was a runaway winner against Delaware State to provide the only bright spot in The American's four Friday games.

OLD DOMINION 18, DELAWARE STATE 1
DOVER, Del. – Lilly Siskind scored four goals and added three assists for the Old Dominion women's lacrosse team on Friday afternoon as they ran away from Delaware State for an 18-1 non-conference victory.
The Monarchs jumped out scoring five goals in the first period. Siskind assisted on the first goal finding Maddie Mullenbach for a 1-0 lead at the 12:19 mark. The final goals of the period were alternated between Siskind and Sydney Taylor. Siskind scored at the 10:41 and 8:55 marks, while Taylor added tallies at the 10:16 and with 25 seconds left to put ODU (3-5) up 5-0 after one.
Old Dominion put up four more goals in the second period as Corrinne Stratton scored on a man-up advantage at the 8:03 mark, while Jeslyn Krebs found the back of the net from a Mullenbach feed to lead 7-0 with 5:35 left. The guests put two more in the cage in a span of 62 seconds as Sydney Taylor scored with 74 seconds left and Siskind rattled the cage with eight seconds for a 9-0 lead.
Siskind assisted on the first two goals finding Ali Mills and Mullenbach to push the lead to 11-0 at the 8:11 mark of the period. She closed her scoring with four minutes left in the third to put the Monarchs ahead 12-0.
Brooke Ferringer scored twice, with Olivia Tannenberger, Jessica Pisani and Mullenbach adding one each to close out the run as ODU lead 17-0 with 3:36 remaining.
Chloe Tuck put the Hornets on the board with two minutes left, but Molly May finished the scoring for the Monarchs with 17 seconds from a Corryn Jones feed for the 18-1 final.
Mullenbach and Sydney Taylor added three goals, while Ferringer scored two to lead the Monarchs. The Monarchs outshot Delaware State 40-8 in the contest as Jenna Peccia, Sabrina Leatherwood and Brianna Blatter combined to make three saves for ODU.
On Sunday, ODU returns to L.R. Hill Sports Complex to take on American at 1 p.m.
LOYOLA 12, FLORIDA 9
BALTIMORE – The 12th-ranked Florida lacrosse team fell in a tightly-contested 12-9 matchup on Friday night to the No. 9 Loyola Greyhounds at Ridley Athletic Complex.
Emerson Cabrera led the offensive attack for Florida, tallying three goals in the game – tying her career-high. Josie Hahn added a career-best two goals of her own, while Paisley Eagan, Emily Heller,
Emma LoPinto and Danielle Pavinelli each registered one goal apiece.
Heller and Shelton Sawers each led the way in the draw circle, tallying three draws apiece on the night.
The Gator defense caused six turnovers, led by three from Emma Wightman. Eagan, Heller and Catherine Moriarty each added one in the game.
Heller, LoPinto and Alexa Waters each picked up a team-high two groundballs as well.
Sarah Reznick notched five saves during her 60 minutes in the cage on Friday night.
MASSACHUSETTS 18, VANDERBILT 7
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Vanderbilt fell 18-7 to UMass on Friday afternoon at the Vanderbilt Lacrosse Complex.
The Commodores took an early 3-1 lead before UMass rattled off four straight goals to go in front 5-3 in the first half.
After Vanderbilt cut the deficit to one with two minutes left before halftime, UMass scored a late goal to take a 6-4 lead into the break.
The Commodores scored quickly in the second half, but UMass took control with a dominant third quarter, outscoring Vanderbilt 7-1 in the period.
The Minutewomen maintained their momentum into the final 15 minutes and took the contest 18-7.
Gabby Fornia finished with four points on two goals and two assists and Bri Gross added a pair of goals.
DELAWARE 11, TEMPLE 10
PHILADELPHIA – No. 18 Temple lacrosse (5-3) fell to the Delaware Blue Hens (2-5) 11-10 Friday night. Despite dominating the first half, the Owls could stop a second-half rally by the Hens.
Belle Mastropietro scored her sixth hat trick in seven games. She also tied for the game-high with four ground balls, she also tied for the game-high with six draw controls and caused two turnovers.
Quinn Nicolai also earned a hat trick with three goals. She also passed for two assists.
