IRVING, Texas – The American Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly men’s soccer awards for the week ending Sunday, October 26.
 
Offensive Player of the Week
Lucas Rizzo, Jr., F, UAB
Rizzo helped the Blazers overcome a two-goal deficit to finish we a draw against Florida Atlantic, earning a brace with goals in the 70^th and 82^nd minute.

Defensive Player of the Week
Owen Travis, Gr., D, FIU
Travis made the game-winning goal in the 1-0 win over No. 24 Charlotte, while also anchoring a backline that allowed just three shots on goal.

Goalkeeper of the Week
Jonathan Kliewer, Sr., Missouri State
Kliewer finished with a pair of clean sheets, shutting out Drake (1-0) and Memphis (1-0).  He earned four saves on the week.
 
Freshman of the Week
Harry Hogben, Fr., D, Missouri State
Hogben helped anchor a backline that allowed just two shots on goal in the win over Memphis.
 
Honorable Mention
Oliver Moller-Jensen, Jr., M, Florida Atlantic
Moller-Jensen scored a goal and added two assists in the 3-3 draw against UAB.
 
Beltran Fernandez, R-Jr., GK, FIU
Fernandez logged three saves in the 1-0 shutout of No. 24 Charlotte.
 
Harry Jolley, Sr., D, Missouri State
Jolley scored the game-winning goal in the 52^nd minute in the 1-0 win over Memphis.
 
Alex Matthews, Jr., M, Missouri State
Matthews helped anchor a backline that allowed just four shots on goal in two matches.
 
Tyler Richardson, Jr., M, South Florida
Richardson scored the game-winning goal against Temple in the 90^th minute.
